About the Course

Level 3 is where your dog starts working away from you and making good choices on their own. Six weeks of the same advanced class we teach in Crystal Lake. Level 2 must be completed first. By the end of Level 3 your dog will: - Hold a sit or down while you move around the room, stand behind a barrier, or walk away - Drop into a down from a distance, even mid recall - Come with an automatic sit, play ping pong recalls, and jackpot an emergency recall from farther away - Heel with halt footwork and changes of pace - Spin both directions, stand from a sit, whip-turn into you, find your front, and offer a chin rest - Work on platforms, front feet and all four, and go between, through, over, onto, and under - Send to the mat and out of the room at a distance, hop in a box, and beat you home - Wear a T-shirt and boots, greet another dog politely, and play hide and seek How it works: one week unlocks at a time with 6 to 8 short lessons, most with a video. A few minutes of play a day is plenty. The Mystic Paws Academy Online community is there when you have questions.
